OREANDA-NEWS The head of the press center of the Zapad group, Sergei Zybinsky, said that Russian heavy flamethrower systems hit the strongholds and shelters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) near Ivanovka in the Kupyansk direction. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.

The representative of the Ministry of Defense clarified that the CBT hit strongholds, shelters and accumulations of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces in the shelters of the 32nd mechanized brigade near Kupyansk. Also, the crews of Su-34 fighter-bombers struck at the accumulation of manpower, weapons and military equipment of the 25th airborne, 32nd and 43rd mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of Sandy, Zagoruikovka, Berestovoye and Stepovaya Novoselovka.

Zybinsky added that the total losses of the AFU in this area amounted to up to 90 soldiers, two T-64 tanks, three infantry fighting vehicles, two cars and two drones.

Earlier, Zybinsky said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had lost more than 200 soldiers in the Kupyansk direction. According to him, Kiev lost a tank, an armored vehicle "Kozak", a pickup truck, a howitzer "Carnation" and two mortar crews.
