OREANDA-NEWS. The pandemic of coronavirus infection will end only after the vaccination of residents of the whole world, Russian Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko said.

“Today it has become obvious to everyone that the end of the pandemic is possible only after the mass vaccination of the population of the whole world. In this regard, ensuring equal access of residents of all countries to effective and safe vaccines, including Sputnik V, should be the goal of foreign regulatory bodies and international organizations,” the politician explained. Murashko also added that new data on the effectiveness of the vaccine Sputnik are “encouraging.”

Since the beginning of the pandemic, about 72.3 million people have been infected with coronavirus in the world, more than 1.6 million people died.
