OREANDA-NEWS  The Ossetian forces destroyed the personnel of three assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which were preparing for an offensive in the area of Malaya Tokmachka and Novopokrovka in the Zaporozhye region. This was announced on Thursday by the acting governor of the region Yevgeny Balitsky.

"Until four in the morning, the enemy was accumulating forces as part of three assault brigades to conduct offensive operations in the direction of Malaya Tokmachka and Novopokrovka. Artillery fire was inflicted on the groups, the enemy almost lost the entire composition of the brigades, the survivors scattered along the forest belt," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

He noted that the enemy's advance in the area of Pyatikhatok was disrupted. "The movement of enemy infantry in the area of Pyatikhatok was also detected, the artillery of the detachment inflicted a fire defeat, the enemy also rolled back," Balitsky wrote.

As reported in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the Ukrainian army has been making unsuccessful attempts to attack since June 4. On July 11, Shoigu said that the losses of the AFU personnel since the beginning of the counteroffensive exceeded 26 thousand. Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed that Ukrainian troops are not successful in any direction.
