OREANDA-NEWS. Two Russian fighter jets Su-27 flew over the Black Sea to intercept two American military aircrafts.

This was reported on June 29 at the National Defense Management Center of the Russian Federation. It is noted that the US Navy’s anti-submarine aircraft P-8A Poseidon, which for a long time was moving south-west from the Crimea at a distance of about 70–80 kilometers from the coast of the peninsula, held reconnaissance at the borders of Russia. Intelligence activities were also conducted by the American plane Boeing RC-135W, which cruised at a distance of 47–65 kilometers from the coast of Crimea. After refueling in the air with the help of the aircraft Boeing KC-135T Stratotanker to increase flight time, RC-135W reached the town of Tuapse in the territory of Krasnodar Krai.
