OREANDA-NEWS. Units of 19 armies of the world are invited to participate in the parade devoted to the anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War scheduled for June 24. This was announced by Russian Minister of Defense Sergey Shoygu.

“The ceremony teams of 19 foreign countries were invited,” the politician said. According to him, a total of 14 thousand people will take part in the Victory Parade in Moscow, including more than 800 pupils from pre-university educational institutions. Besides, 225 weapons, military and special equipment, as well as 75 aircrafts will take part in the parade in the capital of the country. Among them will be more than 20 new models of military equipment, including Su-57 and MiG-31K airplanes, the Minister specified.

He also informed that about 64 thousand people and more than 1.8 thousand pieces of equipment will be attracted to parades throughout Russia.
