“The intensity of reconnaissance and demonstration actions of American aircrafts and ships near Russian borders has increased by 15 % compared to the previous year,” the politician said. He added that Washington has begun redeploying combat units from Germany to Poland and the Baltic countries.

Before that, representative of the Eilson Air Force Base in Alaska told reporters that the US aviation had increased to 20 units a group of fifth-generation multipurpose fighters F-35A Lightning II at the base. By the end of 2021, there will be 54 fighters in Eilson, she added.
