OREANDA-NEWS A large-scale business mission of Russian entrepreneurs to Azerbaijan, organized by the Russian Export Center (part of the VEB Group.The Russian Federation) was held in early October, during which a delegation of 16 major Russian construction companies from different regions held more than 120 meetings with potential partners, the center reports.

"The purpose of the mission is to expand cooperation in the field of construction and search for promising joint projects. During the mission, the participants presented modern building materials and equipment, innovative developments and solutions for construction and design. Azerbaijani companies have shown great interest in supplying Russian products for both current and future projects," the statement said.

"We are pleased to see the response from Azerbaijani companies that are very interested in supplying Russian products in the medium and long term for projects that will be implemented here. The Republic of Azerbaijan is developing dynamically, and, as in any young country, the construction market and construction projects are actively developing here," said Nuri Guliyev, head of the REC representative office in Azerbaijan.
