Russian Clinic Plans to Use Foreign Vaccines against COVID-19
OREANDA-NEWS. The Hadassah clinic from the Skolkovo medical cluster (Moscow) plans to bring foreign vaccines against the coronavirus developed by the companies Pfizer, BioNTech and Moderna to Russia when it becomes possible. This was reported by Yevgeny Tugolukov, the owner of Hadassah Medical.
However, there are no specific agreements yet. At the same time, the clinic may start using vaccines even before registration in Russia due to the special legal regime of the institution.
“Yes, why not? At some point, when it will be available, because there is a big shortage in the world too,” Tugolukov said being asked about the supply of foreign vaccines. “There is no information about the results of the negotiations yet, but the Hadassah team is making every effort to provide this opportunity for our patients,” the press service added.
The Hadassah clinic is negotiating to conduct clinical trials of foreign vaccines in Russia. If all goes according to plan, testing will begin at the end of February.
