OREANDA-NEWS  Banks began to cancel commissions for transfers to themselves to other financial organizations. According to the law, from May 1, transfers to the accounts of the same client in another bank up to 30 million rubles per month through the SBP and by bank details should become free. But some financial organizations intend to comply with the norms before this deadline, Izvestia reported.

Tinkoff is ready for legislative changes, as transfers by phone number are already free, the bank said. The representative of the financial organization drew attention to the fact that zero commissions operate from the launch of transfers through the SBP and that this applies not only to transfers to oneself, but also to other people.

Alfa-Bank canceled all fees for transfers to individuals from April 1, 2023, a representative of the financial organization said. Fees have been canceled for transfers from card to card, by bank details and through the SBP by phone number, he said.

In the bank "Dom.The Russian Federation" reported that they are preparing to launch the functionality of free transfers to themselves before the deadline set by the regulator, but did not specify when exactly.

Other large banks reported their readiness to comply with the law on time. In particular, from May 1, free transfers to themselves are ready to launch "Sber", PSB, "Post Bank", RNKB, "Sinara", VTB.
