According to the agency, the militants staged an explosion on the motorway M4 in the territory of Idlib Governorate, none of the servicemen was injured. “Today, during a joint patrolling… the militants attempted to carry out a terrorist attack with the aim of disrupting monitoring of the situation along the motorway M4,” Major General Igor Konashenkov, spokesman for the Ministry of Defense, said.

At the end of May in Idlib, as a result of a terrorist attack, a Turkish serviceman was killed. The explosion occurred on the motorway M4. The Ministry of Defense of Russia reported that the Turkish military patrol was blown up with a self-made explosive device.
