OREANDA-NEWS  The Russian air defense forces destroyed an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in the sky over the Bryansk region, the governor of the region, Alexander Bogomaz, said on Telegram.

According to him, the Russian military stopped an attempt by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) to carry out a terrorist attack using a drone. "An airplane—type UAV was destroyed over the Navlinsky district by the air defense forces of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation," he stressed.

According to the head of the region, there are no casualties or damage. Operational and emergency services are working on site.

Earlier, the Bryansk governor announced a drone strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Starodubsky district. Two kamikaze drones attacked the cars of a local agricultural enterprise.
