OREANDA-NEWS The change of political forces in Bangladesh is an internal matter of the country, Moscow will work with any leadership of the country, Russian Ambassador to Dhaka Alexander Mantytsky said on the Rossiya 24 TV channel.

"We proceed from the fact that the change of political forces in Bangladesh is an internal matter of the country... We will work with any leader, with any government," he said.

"The embassy is working in a limited mode, taking into account the situation, since today the work of the consular department has been restored, including to provide assistance to Russian citizens in Bangladesh," he said.

Earlier on August 5, it was reported that the Russian Embassy in Dhaka would operate in a limited mode, and the consular department would be closed until August 7.
