OREANDA-NEWS   During the Vietnam Defense Expo 2024 in Vietnam, Rosoboronexport will present for the first time abroad a full-scale sample of the Rubezh-ME coastal missile system (DBK). This was reported by the press service of the special exporter, TASS reports.

The exhibition will also feature the Typhoon-K armored car with the Kornet-EM anti-tank missile system and the BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicle with an additional protection kit. "This military equipment has been refined taking into account the experience of using it in modern combat conditions and can take its rightful place in the ranks of the Vietnamese People's Army," said Alexander Mikheev, CEO of Rosoboronexport, quoted by the press service.

Made on a single platform, Rubezh carries four transport and launch containers with X-35UE missiles, a radar station, as well as equipment for communication and fire control. This corresponds to the concept of a "rocket boat on wheels", which provides for the placement of all elements of the complex on one chassis.

In September, Rosoboronexport reported that Rubezh-ME is capable of independently searching for a target and striking it. "Rubezh" is a modification of the DBK "Bal".
