OREANDA-NEWS.International reserves of the Russian Federation for the period from 21 to 28 June increased by 1.4% and amounted to $ 517.1 billion, according to the materials of the Bank of Russia.
"International reserves as of June 28 totaled $ 517.1 billion, having increased over the week by $ 6.9 billion, or 1.4%, mainly as a result of the proceeds from the placement of bonds of an external bonded loan of the Russian Federation, a positive revaluation and purchase of foreign currency within the budget rules, "- said officials.
In 2018, the international reserves of the Russian Federation grew by 8.3% and as of January 1 amounted to 468.5 billion dollars. The historical maximum reserves reached in early August 2008. It was $ 598 billion.
