OREANDA-NEWS Russia is in the process of reorienting foreign trade flows, Asia accounts for almost 60% of the country's exports, Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said on Monday.

Siluanov and Chinese Finance Minister Lanfang are holding the Ninth Financial Dialogue between Russia and China in Beijing on Monday.

"I want to say that the Russian Federation is now at the stage of reorientation of foreign trade flows, first of all our closest friendly countries, and first of all it is China," Siluanov said, opening the meeting.
He stressed that "today our exports to Asian countries account for almost 60%, and some time ago this figure was 2 times lower, and in many ways the foreign trade turnover with China occupies the first place in trade turnover."
