OREANDA-NEWS  Russia is extremely concerned about information indicating that suicide bombers are actively preparing for terrorist attacks against objects and patrols of the Russian Armed Forces in Syria, Rear Admiral Vadim Kulit, deputy head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Warring Parties in the Arab Republic, said at a briefing.

"The Russian side is extremely concerned about information indicating the active preparation of suicide bombers by the Jabhat Al-Nusra terrorist group* (banned in the territory of the Russian Federation), whose task is to carry out terrorist attacks against objects and patrols of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the Syrian Arab Army," the rear Admiral said at a briefing.

He also stressed that the grouping of troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will take the most decisive and tough measures against militants planning an attack on the Russian and Syrian military. In addition, Kulit called on the commanders of illegal armed formations to abandon provocations and embark on a peaceful settlement of the conflict.
