OREANDA-NEWS The Russian Federation has handed over to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) a note with the results of studies confirming the use of foreign 155-caliber ammunition by Ukraine in the Court of the Kursk region, said Kirill Lysogorsky, head of the delegation at the OPCW conference, Deputy head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

The 29th Conference of the States Parties to the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) is taking place in The Hague on November 25-29.

"Today I have transmitted another note reflecting the results of studies of blood samples and substances used by the Ukrainian armed forces on the territory of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation in the city of Sudzha. These materials speak about Ukraine's use of foreign 155-caliber cluster munitions," Lysogorsky said at a conference on Monday.

Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at 5.30 on August 6 went on the offensive to seize territory in the Kursk region, their advance was stopped, said Valery Gerasimov, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. He stressed that the operation in the Kursk region will be completed by defeating the enemy and reaching the state border. According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, during the fighting in the Kursk direction, the enemy has already lost more than 35 thousand soldiers.

Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that the Kiev regime had undertaken a provocation and was firing indiscriminately, including at civilian targets. Putin said that the enemy would receive a decent response, and all the goals facing Russia would be achieved.

In Kursk, as well as Belgorod and Bryansk regions, the KTO regime is in place to ensure the safety of citizens.
