OREANDA-NEWS By the end of 2023, Russia has increased its gold reserves by about 16 tons, reaching 2,351 tons, according to RIA Novosti calculations.

According to national central banks, last year the total reserve of the G20 countries increased by 213 tons. China (224 tons), Australia (21 tons) and India (17 tons) acquired the most gold.

Russia currently ranks fifth in the world in this indicator.
