OREANDA-NEWS Russia has expanded its list of sanctions against British nationals, including several politicians, experts, and journalists, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry on Monday. The ministry said that the provocative rhetoric of British officials and their practical steps towards the military development of Ukraine indicates the unrelenting attitude of the UK leadership towards continuing a tough systemic confrontation with Russia.

In response to these actions, the ministry announced that several representatives from the political establishment, journalistic community, and expert community in the UK were added to the "stop list." The statement also emphasized that Moscow calls on London to stop military support for Ukraine.
