OREANDA-NEWS The government has expanded and extended the program of state guarantees of free medical care until 2025, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said.

"It also provides for the provision of high-tech and specialized assistance," Mishustin said on Monday during a meeting with deputy prime ministers.

He noted that the number of services available within the framework of the program will be increased, as well as the possibilities of medical rehabilitation will be expanded.

"Now it (rehabilitation) will be carried out at home with the provision of necessary medical devices to patients. The program includes new directions, including prevention and treatment of patients with hepatitis C, as well as early detection of diabetes mellitus and its treatment," the head of government said.
