OREANDA-NEWS The Russian authorities have decided not to restore some cities in the new regions. This was stated by the head of the Ministry of Construction Irek Fayzullin, RIA Novosti reports.

The agency believes that it is dangerous to work in some cities now. Also, the restoration will be meaningless, because there are no people left in the cities.

According to Fayzullin, they will not restore, for example, the city of Popasnaya. At the moment, seven people live in it, although there used to be about a hundred thousand inhabitants in the city. People do not want to leave their homes despite the fact that there is no water, light, heating, electricity and gas in them.

At the same time, the authorities are actively working in large cities, for example, in Mariupol. Russian ATMs of the state credit organization PSB have appeared in the new territories.
