OREANDA-NEWS Russian specialists have developed a high-speed unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) "Tube", launched from a portable installation and designed to destroy enemy armored vehicles and artillery deep in the front. This is reported by TASS with reference to a source in the military-industrial complex.

The flight speed of the device is 250-300 km / h, the range is 30-40 kilometers. There are no analogues in Russia now, other drones fly at a speed of 100-150 km / h, which makes them easier to spot and shoot down with small arms. Accordingly, the "Tube" will be able to effectively fight the enemy's artillery deep in the front, with which, as noted, the biggest problems are now.

The device weighs 10 kilograms, the mass of the launcher is 5 kilograms. "The product is portable. I fired, threw away the installation and forgot," the agency interlocutor stressed.

According to him, the "Tube" has successfully passed internal tests, in two months it is planned to begin its use in the zone of a special military operation (SVO).
