OREANDA-NEWS  Russia has permanently closed entry to the country for 77 US citizens, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation reported. The department noted that the expansion of the stop list is a reaction to Washington's personal sanctions against Russian citizens. Entry was banned, in particular, to state governors, heads of several federal departments, as well as companies that, according to the Foreign Ministry, are involved in the supply of weapons to Ukraine.

Among those on the stop list are the governors of 33 American states, the daughter of former Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi, Christina, as well as top managers of the IT company Leidos and the sniper rifle company Desert Tech.

On January 26, the United States added to the sanctions list, in particular, Deputy Prime Minister and head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, head of the Federal Penitentiary Service Arkady Gostev, head of the Kalashnikov concern Alan Lushnikov, head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and his wife, as well as businessman Sergei Adonyev and his two sons.

On the same day, the US Treasury Department included the Wagner PMC in the list of international criminal organizations and imposed sanctions against 12 legal entities and 6 individuals who are allegedly connected with the activities of the PMC. Among them are companies registered in the CAR, China and the UAE.
