OREANDA-NEWS Moscow has asked Yerevan for clarifications on the ratification by the Armenian Parliament of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC), and will build actions based on the response of the Armenian side. This was stated at a briefing by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.

"We have already asked the Armenian side for explanations on this matter and we will determine our further steps based on the content of Yerevan's response," the diplomat said, commenting on the actions of the Armenian authorities.

Earlier, the press service of the Armenian government told TASS that the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic sent the Rome Statute of the ICC to the parliament for ratification.
