OREANDA-NEWS Russia, against the background of the introduction of increased duties by the European Union, practically stopped exporting grain there, having shipped products worth only 21 thousand euros in September, RIA Novosti calculated according to Eurostat.

Since July 1, the European Union has imposed increased duties on the import of cereals, oilseeds and products of their processing from Russia and Belarus. Depending on the specific product, the duties increased either to 95 euros per ton of products imported into the European Union, or to 50%.

In July, imports decreased fourfold compared to June - to 2.9 million euros, and in August it amounted to 3.7 million euros.
