OREANDA-NEWS Russia continues contacts with Israel on the issue of the release of hostages, Russian Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Wednesday.

Asked if Israel had asked Russia for help in freeing the hostages in Gaza, Peskov said: "We continue our contacts with the Israeli side."
