OREANDA-NEWS  In June, Russia reduced its portfolio of U.S. government bonds to $44 million. This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Ministry of Finance of the United States.

In May, this figure was 45 million. According to the Ministry of Finance, in the first month of summer, the Russian portfolio consisted of $42 million in long—term securities and two million in short-term ones.

Russia continues to get rid of U.S. securities. In May, Moscow reduced its investments in U.S. government bonds to $45 million. In April, this figure was $46 million.
