OREANDA-NEWS Leonid Babashov, a State Duma deputy from Crimea, commented on the creation of a NATO training center for Ukraine in Poland. He spoke about this in an interview with RIA Novosti.
Babashov appreciated the creation of a NATO center in Poland and stressed that it resembles the policy of the Nazis. In particular, the actions of Germany, when it allocated "funds for the training and supply of Bandera formations." According to the parliamentarian, the Polish center of the alliance country will begin to train an army of collaborators from Ukrainians.
"By training Ukrainian soldiers there, Poles will be able not only to influence their skills in tank management and working with firearms, but also, of course, to process them psychologically. And if the Polish army tries to enter western Ukraine, these Ukrainian military sympathizers with Poles will be able to become the backbone of the occupying NATO army," the politician suggested.
In June 2023, Poland's permanent representative to NATO, Tomasz Shatkowski, said that the country could become a maintenance center for American Abrams tanks and other equipment. According to him, Poland and Germany discussed a deal to create a repair center for Leopard tanks transferred to Kiev.
