OREANDA-NEWS  The leaders of Russia and Vietnam called for expanding cooperation in agriculture, including increasing the supply of agricultural products, follows from a joint statement by the Russian Federation and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

A joint statement on further deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership in the context of the 30th anniversary of the implementation of the Russian-Vietnamese treaty on the foundations of friendly relations has been published on the Kremlin's website.

"The leaders of the two countries noted the importance of expanding cooperation in agriculture, fisheries and forestry, including increasing imports and exports of agricultural products, attracting business circles to create agricultural production facilities in Russia and Vietnam," the message says.
