OREANDA-NEWS Russia is discussing with Bangladesh delivery in this country attack helicopters Mi-35M, said in an interview the Head of the official Russian delegation at the exhibition "INDO DEFENCE-2018", the Deputy Director of the Federal service for military-technical cooperation of Russia Mikhail Petukhov.

"This topic is being worked out, with the terms of signing the contract, the parties will be determined later," said Petukhov.

The Mi-35M is the only universal combat helicopter in the world capable of transporting up to 8 military personnel with weapons, up to 1,500 kilograms of ammunition or other cargo inside the cabin, as well as up to 2,400 kilograms of cargo on the external suspension, evacuation of the wounded, delivery of technical personnel to Autonomous sites.

The firepower of the Mi-35M is higher than that of the main competitors in the market by 140% due to the significant weight of the combat load of equipment. By the power of unguided missile and small-gun weapons, the helicopter is 30% superior to its counterparts, which allows it to more effectively provide air support to troops on the battlefield.

The helicopter also features significant altitude characteristics with the ability to perform takeoffs and landings on concrete and ground platforms located at altitudes up to 4000 meters above sea level. In addition, the successful design solutions used in the Mi-35M, provide the ability to use the Russian helicopter in a wide range of physical, geographical and climatic conditions, including in the mountains, at temperatures from -50°C to +50°C and humidity up to 98%.

International exhibition of arms and military equipment INDO DEFENCE - is one of the largest international exhibitions in the Asia-Pacific region, focused on the demonstration of achievements in armament and military equipment of land forces, air defense forces, naval forces, special forces, as well as training and simulation systems.
