Rostec increased ammunition supplies 25 times in 2023

OREANDA-NEWS Rostec increased the supply of ammunition to Russian troops by 25 times in 2023, compared with 2022, according to materials for the meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin with the Director General of the state corporation Sergey Chemezov. This is reported by TASS.
"The production of the entire range of weapons has increased. For example, the production of shells for barrel artillery has increased sixfold," the papers note.
In June, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said that the state defense order in 2024 is being fulfilled according to plan, despite some nuances.
In December, Uralvagonzavod (part of Rostec) announced that it had successfully fulfilled contracts in 2023 for the supply of T-90M and T-72B3M tanks, improved taking into account the experience of a special military operation, to the troops.
