Rostec explained the incidents with Superjet 100 aircraft

OREANDA-NEWS Rostec State Corporation linked the incidents with Superjet 100 (SSJ-100) aircraft to human or external factors. The statement of the press service is quoted by RIA Novosti.
The report says that in terms of reliability, the SSJ-100 is not inferior to liners of a similar class of foreign production. According to data for 2024, the regularity of departures of this type of aircraft is 98 percent, Rostec explained. They added that in the statistics of aviation accidents, you can see aircraft from all manufacturers, including Boeing, Airbus and Embraer.
The state corporation's press service also urged "not to demonize Superjet" and stressed that even the best aircraft are not immune from bad weather, maintenance or piloting errors.
Earlier it was reported that on November 24, five incidents with SSJ-100 aircraft occurred at once. Among them is the fire in the Azimut Airline plane, which began after landing at Antalya airport.
