OREANDA-NEWS  There are more than 1 thousand cases of measles in Russia, 300 thousand who have been in contact with them, while there is a certain decrease in the incidence, said the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova.

"We have more than a thousand cases, the number of contacts with whom our epidemiologists have worked is about 300 thousand," Popova said on the Rossiya 24 channel. She noted that out of these 300 thousand, the number of people without immunity is about 6-7 thousand, they need to be vaccinated.

According to Popova, the seasonality for measles in Russia is autumn-spring, already today there is a certain decrease in the incidence.
