OREANDA-NEWS  Roskomnadzor confirmed the leak of personal data of MTS Bank customers, the regulator has already drawn up an administrative protocol that will be submitted to the court, the agency told RIA Novosti.

In early September, the Telegram channel "Information Leaks" wrote that a database appeared on the network allegedly with the data of MTS Bank customers for several million lines. In the MTS Bank itself, RIA Novosti reported that the databases with the data of its customers do not contain bank secrecy, the accounts are out of danger, while the bank itself was not attacked by hackers - the presence of other credit institutions in the database indicates a leak from a retail company or a digital services provider.

"As a result of the audit, Roskomnadzor revealed the fact of leakage of personal data of MTS Bank customers, drew up an administrative protocol for violation of the legislation on personal data protection. The protocol will be submitted to the court," the ministry said.
