OREANDA-NEWS. Attorneys at Roshen Confectionery Corporation, owned by former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, filed a complaint with the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation against a decision of the Arbitration Court of the Central District, which did not satisfy their appeal against a decision of the Arbitration Court of the Lipetsk Region and a ruling of the Twentieth Arbitration Court of Appeal recognizing the accrual of Lipetsk factory as more 361.5 million rubles in taxes and fines. 

"Roshen filed a complaint with the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation. Currently, the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation has registered a complaint. If it is considered, then we will receive a request for a case", Semenskaya said.

Roshen Corporation has been in the process of challenging tax assessments to the factory in Lipetsk since 2015, when it was asked to pay almost 285.9 million rubles of value added tax for the I-IV quarters of 2012, as well as 26.2 million rubles of interest on this tax and a fine of 49.5 million rubles.
