OREANDA-NEWS The Roscosmos delegation will take part in the exhibition exposition of the International Astronautical Congress (IAC-2023) opening in Baku on Monday, the CEO of the state corporation Yuri Borisov will hold talks with colleagues from space agencies of other countries on its sidelines.

"The Russian side will take part in the opening ceremony of the congress and its exhibition," the press service of the state corporation reported.

During the discussion with the participation of the heads of leading space agencies, the head of Roscosmos "will touch upon the issues of manned cosmonautics, pollution of near-Earth space, the development of multi-satellite groupings and Earth remote sensing programs, responsible behavior in space, training for the space industry," the message says.

"The Russian delegation has scheduled bilateral meetings with colleagues from space agencies of other countries," the press service added.

In 2022, the Russian Federation did not participate in the International Astronautical Congress (IAC-2022) in Paris, as most of the participants of the Russian delegation were denied a visa. The Russian Foreign Ministry protested in this regard.
