OREANDA-NEWS  Rosatom is working on the implementation of environmental projects in the LPR and DPR, and is planning such projects in the Zaporizhia and Kherson regions, Alexey Likhachev, CEO of the state corporation, said on Wednesday.

"We have been actively working in new regions for more than 1.5 years. To the agenda that you are talking about, related to Energodar, with the Zaporizhia NPP, another large environmental agenda has been added - we are working in the DPR, the LPR, and we are now planning to conclude an agreement with Zaporizhia and Kherson (Zaporizhia and Kherson regions - ed.). These are industrial burial grounds, landfills of household waste," he said at a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
