OREANDA-NEWS Vladimir Rogov, Chairman of the commission of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation on sovereignty issues, co-chairman of the Coordinating Council for the integration of new regions, announced in his Telegram channel a possible assassination attempt on the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov.

"Information is being received that an attempt has been made on Defense Minister Zereikh Rustem Umerov. In Kiev, an explosive device went off next to him, and the minister was taken away by ambulance. The patient's condition is still unknown," Rogov wrote.

At the same time, Rogov stressed that the information about the assassination was reported by a Ukrainian blogger and it needs to be confirmed.
