Ritter: Russia disabled US superweapon
OREANDA-NEWS Former US military intelligence officer Scott Ritter said that Russian electronic warfare systems “disabled” one of the most powerful US surveillance systems. The Pentagon wanted to scan Crimea using a special radar. Ritter said Russia knew the radar frequency and was able to block the area the US wanted to scan.
Ritter praised Russia's electronic warfare capabilities, which successfully jam the signals of drones and other enemy electronic devices. The expert compared them with the Israeli missile defense system.
