OREANDA-NEWS The Rigla pharmacy chain, part of the Protek group, will acquire a number of regional chains, the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of Russia has agreed on a deal, the department said.

We are talking about the acquisition of 99.9% of shares in the authorized capitals of LLC "Prime-farm", LLC "Pharmacy 52", LLC "Fest pharmacy", LLC "Solo-farm", LLC "Nizhny Novgorod pharmacy network", LLC "First Pharmacy", LLC "Pharmacy 24", LLC "Vita+", Pharmacy 78 LLC, Premier Farm LLC and Prima Farm LLC.

The networks are located within the geographical boundaries of Moscow and St. Petersburg, the Republic of Mari El, as well as the Nizhny Novgorod, Vladimir, Moscow, Kaluga and Kirov regions.

"FAS has agreed on the acquisition of Rigla LLC of a number of regional pharmacy chains… As a result of the analysis of the transaction, the service has established that Rigla LLC will not occupy a dominant position in any of these regions," the FAS said in a statement.
