OREANDA-NEWS Temporary work restrictions have been introduced at Kazan Airport in order to ensure flight safety. This was stated in the Federal Air Transport Agency, RIA Novosti reports.

"To ensure the safety of civil aircraft flights, temporary restrictions were imposed on the operation of Kazan Airport this morning. The air harbor temporarily does not accept or send flights," the ministry said.

It is noted that at the moment, air traffic controllers, airport services and aircraft crews are taking measures to ensure flight safety, which remains a "top priority."

Earlier, almost 200 passengers were stuck at Moscow's Vnukovo Airport. Utair passengers said that their flight to Vladikavkaz was postponed from 00:25 Moscow time more than ten times.
