The film by the Yakut director won in the International Fiction Film nomination. The film is due to be released in Russia on September 19. In addition to "The Plague", the Russian film "Swallow" by Maliki Mukhamedzhan was shown at the festival in Italy.

In December 2022, the film by Yakut directors Maxim and Evgenia Arbugaev "Exit" was nominated for an Oscar in the category "Best Short Documentary". Evgeny Arbugaev then said that for him, winning the nomination is not the most important thing.
