Representative of Russian Foreign Ministry Zakharova Said Stoltenberg's Speeches Are Dangerous for Health
OREANDA-NEWS The words of NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg do not stand up to any criticism, listening to his speeches is dangerous for health. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova on February 21 on the air of Channel One.
Commenting on Stoltenberg's statements on the topic of non-expansion of NATO, Zakharova noted that he had said many times that did not correspond to reality. The structure at the head of which he actually stands was engaged in many things - from information stuffing to actually aggressive actions.
"Stoltenberg cannot be listened to. It's just dangerous for health," Zakharova stressed.
According to her, it is simply impossible to listen to some other version of what is happening. The words of the NATO Secretary General do not stand up to any criticism.
As reported by IA REGNUM, earlier Stoltenberg said that the alliance did not break the promise of non-expansion to the east. There was no agreement to abandon such plans.
Spiegel reported that the National Archives of Great Britain found a 1991 document in which the West declared the unacceptability of NATO expansion to the east. The agreement is a protocol of a meeting of representatives of the foreign ministries of the United States, Britain, France and Germany in Bonn on March 6, 1991. Following the meeting, the participants agreed that the membership of Eastern European countries in NATO is "unacceptable".
