OREANDA-NEWS The Russian government will send more than 900 million rubles as subsidies to the regions to help farmers who suffered damage due to spring frosts, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said.

"Before we move on to the agenda of the government meeting, I want to tell you about several decisions that should help our farmers. This year, due to the spring frosts, many of them faced unforeseen losses of their products," Mishustin said at a government meeting.

He added that if the grains were replanted, then fruits and berries were significantly affected, especially in the central part of Russia.
