OREANDA-NEWS Russian Export Center (VEB Group.Russia) has supported exports to Belarus for more than $ 9 billion over 10 years, the REC reports.
"Over 10 years, the Russian Export Center has supported more than $ 9 billion in exports to Belarus," Veronika Nikishina, Director General of the REC, said during the visit of the center's delegation to Minsk, during which a meeting with President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko took place.
"We are working in Belarus in three directions. The first is the direct support of Russian non–primary and non-energy exports to the republic. The second direction is to provide assistance to Belarusian companies that are ready to offer components and equipment for Russian enterprises, including those created as part of import substitution. We have already implemented several deals to support Belarusian priority imports for Russia. The third area of work is participation in investment projects that are carried out within the framework of concessional financing," Nikishina noted.
The General Director of the REC added that 17 new investment projects are currently being discussed.
