OREANDA-NEWS. Russian President Vladimir Putin greeted the participants and guests of the World Quality Day 2021 forum, noting that improving the quality of products and services directly determines the competitiveness of the domestic economy.

“Since then, your traditional meetings have proven their relevance ... they are aimed at a deep, substantive discussion of issues related to improving the quality of products and services, introducing effective management methods and, in general, promoting the principles of sustainable development. the competitiveness of our economy, "reads a telegram posted on the Kremlin's website.

The President also noted that one of the main challenges was the coronavirus epidemic - enterprises had to adapt to new conditions, suspend operations, switch to telecommuting to ensure the safety of employees, but the business also paid attention to saving and strengthening the production, scientific and technological, human resources of the economic sectors. 

“I am sure that constructive proposals will be made during the forum, which will find their real embodiment, will promote cooperation between different countries for the sake of a common successful future,” Putin added.

The President wished the forum participants fruitful discussions and all the best.

The international forum "World Quality Day in Russia" this year takes place from 10 to 12 November. The holiday, to which it is timed, is celebrated annually on the second Thursday of November.
