OREANDA-NEWS  The election of preventive measures in the form of house arrest and bail for those accused of crimes in the economic sphere will contribute to the further humanization of justice, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting of judges of courts of general jurisdiction, military and arbitration courts of the Russian Federation.

Earlier, he said that in the conditions of sanctions aggression, the question of legislative guarantees for the protection of entrepreneurs from unjustified criminal prosecution arises.

"Including a ban on extending the period of detention of suspects and accused of crimes in the economic sphere. As well as the election of preventive measures for them that are not related to isolation from society. For example, bail or house arrest. This will contribute to the further humanization of justice," Putin said.
