OREANDA-NEWS  Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a law on increasing the minimum wage. The relevant document is published on the official Internet portal of legal information document.

From January 1, 2025, the minimum wage will be 22.4 thousand rubles (previously it was 19.2 thousand). According to Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, this will help increase the salaries of almost four million workers.

On October 23, it became known that the establishment of the minimum wage for the next year at the level of 22,440 rubles was approved by the Federation Council. It grew by 16.6 percent compared to the previous indicator.

According to the explanatory note attached to the bill, by 2030 the minimum wage in the country is planned to be raised to 35 thousand rubles per month.
