Putin noted the work of the Oncopatrul project

OREANDA-NEWS On the eve of the World Cancer Day, Russian President Vladimir Putin noted the "truly ascetic" work of the All-Russian Information and Educational project "Oncopatrul", the corresponding telegram was published on the Kremlin's website.
"The fight against cancer is one of the priorities of modern medicine all over the world. In recent years, a large-scale program has been implemented in our country in this most important area of healthcare," the telegram says. The President noted that leading scientists and practitioners, pharmaceutical manufacturers and experts are involved in solving responsible tasks. He specified that much attention is paid to the training of qualified specialists, modernization and re-equipment of cancer centers.
"In this regard, I would like to note with satisfaction the huge, truly ascetic work carried out by the participants of the All-Russian information and Educational project "Oncopatrul" – representatives of relevant ministries and departments, medical institutions, public and non-profit associations. I would like to sincerely thank the organizers of this important, sought–after initiative – the NMIC of Radiology of the Ministry of Health of Russia, the Association of Oncologists of Russia, the Association of Cancer Patients "Hello", the Ministry of Health and the Federation Council of the Russian Federation - for their dedicated service to the cause for the benefit of the health of our citizens," the message says.
