Putin instructed to increase the incomes of residents of Crimea

OREANDA-NEWS Russian President Vladimir Putin, following a meeting on the development of Crimea held on March 17, instructed the government to gradually reduce the income gap between residents of the peninsula and the national average. This is stated in a message on the Kremlin's website.
During the meeting, the head of state said that the income gap is painful for Crimeans and Sevastopol residents. The head of the Ministry of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov in response to this proposed to redirect the proceeds from the sale of foreign assets in Russia to the development of the tourism industry of Crimea and Sevastopol.
The Russian leader also instructed to direct funds from the payment of voluntary contributions, which are paid when foreign companies leave Russia, to the development of the tourism infrastructure of the Crimea.
It is noted that the government must provide a report on the implementation of instructions by September 1, 2023, then once every six months.
On April 10, the average salary in Russia was announced. According to the results of January-March 2023, it amounted to 53,096 rubles. According to the Avito Work service, this indicator increased by 24.9 percent compared to the first quarter of 2022.
